Catacol Wildcats prediction: 3-13. We'll get our first ever touchdown on Week 3 or 4.

BC North: North Miami Beach Railriders (offensive)
BC East: Bohemian Cubs (balanced but effective)
BC South: Montevideo Screamers (defensive)
BC West: Derry Mean Machine (no medals for you)

Conference champs: Derry Mean Machine (still no medals for you)

FB North: Les Republicains de Paris (50/50 between them and the Auctioneers so Auld Alliance is the tiebreaker)
FB East: Entebbe Elders (They get the nod because the other teams are leaky in defence)
FB South: L.A. Earthquake. (Difficult to predict, but they're high scorers with good defence. I boycott Philly because of their helmet design)
FB West: Penrith Lions (obviously)

Conference champs: Penrith Lions

Overall champions: Derry Mean Machine (fine, have a medal)

Week 1 Results

So, we've gotten on with Week 1 and the results are here for all to see. To recap, the winner was North Miami Beach by 13. Let's hope you all had the right raffle ticket

    12 correct
    9 incorrect (2 did not predict)
    0 correct with the exact margin

The leaderboard has been updated on the first post in the thread. For those interested, when a tie occurs, it has been sorted by the closest to the right margin, and then by alphabetical order. This is only for the leaderboard, anybody who has the same score is ranked the same.

Let's move on to Week 2, and we have some juicy games to watch and listen to (and look at), but there is one game that I think will really make you all think. Between two teams that both had solid wins, one by a big margin and the other by a much closer one. That's right... we are taking the game of the week and that is Bohemian Cubs at Echunga Echidnas
