I thought I'd pick through this season's draft and give some comment on an interesting drafted player from each team. My opinions only. YMMV.
Anarchy Robert Risley - CB
Solid corner who may go superstar at TC. Shouldn't be less than a starter either way.
Arrows Ronnie Brown - C
Smart lineman who can long snap for miles. Shame about his run blocking.
Auctioneers Richard Chapman - WR
Good WR. Not the quickest and may take a season to develop fully.
Baguettes Andrew Kang - MLB
Nothing to see here. Move along please.
Corpses Steve Young - LT
A future great but not a great pass blocker this year.
Crazy Wolves David Whitworth - MLB
Future superstar MLB specialist. May need a year to hit his stride.
Dragons Xiahou Yuan - DT
Future superstar. Make the most of his suboptimal pass rush while you can.
Earthquake Jimmy Ogden - WR
Not the quickest but at least he's brave. Might get snagged in coverage though.
Echidnas Travis Boak - MLB
Excellent LB for years to come once he's polished his skills fully.
Fools He's Jack - WR
Decent WR. Never going to be a star though.
HarbourmastersAntonio Roulette - QB
Potential to be an all-time great. But will he get there?
Kings Kirk McTwist - FB
Let's just trust that the Colonel knows best...
Lengths Johnathan Keillor - RB
Part of a veritable tsunami of draftees, he'll be a solid RB in years to come. If only he was slightly quicker...
Lions Ernest Morley - LT
Well, he's strong. Just pity the poor ball carrier hoping for a run block.
Mean Machine O'Cyrus von Hugel - WLB
One of only two picks this year. Let's hope he has a good TC...
North Stars Rob Duffey - MLB
One of two high volatility LBs picked. Both have the potential to be out of work before the season starts.
Paris Ferdinand Flungesponk - TE
Solid blocker who might be able to catch a few too if he has a good TC. Could be useful at FB too.
Philly William Smithsonian - QB
A high volatility pocket passer who might be great. Or he might not.
Phoenix Jesse Knuckles - RDE
He's quick - does he have a future as a short yardage RB?
Prodigies Wade Hamm - CB
Genius pick. Will be a long term starter but vulnerable in M2M in his first year.
Rampage Ronald Hesse - WR
A 1,000yd WR in the making if Engelhardt can find him often enough.
Raptors Fritz Ernst - LT
Future star player but may be suspect on run plays in his first year.
Rhinos Paul Grimmett - RG
Slow and strong with an IQ of 143, he'll be a starter once his skills are maxed.
Robins Barney McGrew - RB
If he is given the opportunity, could be a 1,000yd RB. Watch out for the fumbles though.
Screamers Todd Unctious - CB
Could turn into a solid starter but less likely if his Tackling and/or M2M skills go in the wrong direction at TC.
Silverbacks Barry Cannon - WR
Has the speed and the courage but will he get to the right place at the right time?
Slamhounds Thomas Schulz - WLB
Can start across all LB positions. Question mark over how he'll stack up after TC.
Soneros Sisto Llorente - LG
Future starter, just not in his first year.
Tardigrados Ajo Belenos - RDE
Quick, strong and smart, he'll be great once he matures.
Violent Vermin Bryan Belanger - RT
Future star player but may be suspect on passing plays in his first year.
War Elephants Kenneth Donaldson - WR
"What's the volatility, Kenneth?". Could be a 1,000yd WR or might not if the TC Gods are harsh.
Wildcats Jerry Attrick - C
Will be a superstar...if TC is kind.
