Intentional Grounding Bug ?

Hi there,

Should this be Intentional Grounding ? If so, it occurs in the End Zone and I'm sure it's a spot foul (safety) and loss of down.

Good thing considering how QBs crumble whenever a defender gets remotely close to them.

I spoke to another on this and he was very much of the opinion that..."..'the devs'" won't make it happen because of too many penalties in the game.

This said....if I've spent handsomely on a DL to aid my D pass rush, and this is a LC game....should I be pissed ?

basically it's more realistic for the qb to throw it away than take 20+ sacks a game. Once you watch enough games you will see that it goes both ways. The qb's used to run sideways from the blitz and never throw it and just take the sack. Investing in a dline that causes throw aways and sacks is a good tactic compared to not getting pressure and giving the qb more time to complete passes. I tend to not worry about it since qb's should be able to hit receivers even with a defender bearing down on them. This actually gives an advantage to defenses a lot of the time.

I get what you are saying...100%......but I think the O should not be allowed to do this too close to their own end zone.

Now tell me that you're in a LC ...and that happens ? That's a decent 5 point swing !

He's throwing in the direction of #88. The QB right now will always throw to a player, intentional grounding is something that will be added at some point but I want to get the pressure/sack/throw-away balance better before adding that layer to it.

No worries at all....although this was only a pre-season game...I'd be a bit peeved if that was the bowl and a potential 9/10 point swing.

You have it on the radar sir...sweet.
