In other words you just can't handle having less exploits and the game being more balanced. Penalizing oop does fix one of the games biggest core issues which is exactly why you are railing against it being fixed, because your game planning revolves around exploits."

That was in reference to someone complaining about fixing the oop code because it'd mess up his play calling. Wasn't an attack on using it but on not wanting to fix it.

I don't like the forcing players into positions either. The easiest fix is within 5 pounds stats count 100% outside that stats are reduced 1% for every pound outside that positions weight limit. Probably far easier to code too. So if you play oop it still works but they aren't going to be automatically better at the position than proper weight players.

i was once a wee kiddo

tecmo superbowl on og nintendo was the best game of all time. it was the first game that offered the ability to play a season with tracked stats. i went all the way in......even spent the time to win the super bowl with each team .......except the Patriots...they were just too bad.......or maybe the Colts....they both kinda sucked....Steve Grogan was so very bad so i believe it was the Pats. i absoulety destroyed with the Bengals. SS David Fulcher was a heat seeking missile. when he was in excellent condition he could defend a 10 yard pass from 30 yards away

the best players in that game were the fastest. speed has been a dominate attribute in every football sim or video game that i have ever played. even in real life football........on all levels..... fast players have an observable advantage

a fun attribute to offset speed would be "intuition", "natural ability" or "clutch"........there have been times i wondered if maybe such is already an attribute....one we cant see.......which would be super cool of JDB.......hidden x factors would be realistic........even bad things like car wrecks or misconduct could be added

also......it would be fun to see an RO option that includes simple slider options such as pass/run, blitz%, or agressivness....general things as such....nothing overly complicated

If you play a player out of there draft position they won't won't resign and could holdout the next season. Some players could have multiple positions but its listed on there profile during draft..

Resetting the market is real...During Free Agency if a player is signed for a large amount then a better rated player on on your team with 1 year left could ask for more money.

The first one seems counterproductive to gameplay and reality. Players regularly switch positions post draft.

The second one is way too vulnerable to trolls signing their top but low quality players to ridiculous contracts just to cap crush other teams.

in my time participating in MFN, it is clear to see that the automated decisions from unowned teams are horrendous

unless a league is at full capacity - which according to current participation is not happening - the unowned teams need to be programmed to make wiser decisions with draft picks, free agency signings and resigning of players already on the roster

each unowned team becomes a joke and it lies on shoulders of admin to correct. not exactly what i signed up for

in time teams work themselves into horrible position and become less attractive to any potential owners

since there are so many unowned teams.....if this was my game.....i would focus on re coding how unowned teams make their decisions
