I've never been bothered by "too many" punters of kickers. I just ignore them.

In fact, if the search filters worked so you could see only "All Except Kickers", it wouldn't be an issue at all.

so my team still has no punter and no way to get one since there are 32 teams and only about 28 punters in existance

so that's fun

I want to say you can download the .cvs file of all the players in the draft and open it in excel, then do all your filtering/sorting. Or am I thinking of free agents? Perhaps both have that capability? I'm not currently in a draft stage so I cannot verify that though.

The day when scripts and such like are used to get an edge over everyone else is the day I go.
One the best things about this game is the level playing field, some other beta games allow you to use scripts and for me that devalues the game.

I agree with Gustoon on this!

Scripts? Are you referring to the ability to look at player ratings in a spreadsheet? Not quite sure what you are explaining. But right now the ability is there to download a .cvs file for FAs and sort/filter by attribute columns. I don't see how that gains any edge other than reducing the time required to find players of interest. Everyone sees players differently. I guess I don't understand your point and would like you to go into more details on your thoughts because I'm interested in what you think.

Crack that code. CVS files help do that. Still a worthy game shouldnt be so easy to crack. CVS files or not.

There's no info in the CSV files that you can't get from the search results, if there's something you'd like to view that you can't as always please put a suggestion in - my goal is to make everything as transparent as possible and as easy as possible to get the info that you need. The only thing that's really a 'secret' is the boom/bust direction of players, but that actual value is not accessible anywhere.

Hi Ole,
I did start explaining and it turned horribly complicated so I found this which is nice and succinct.....

What is a script?
Scripts are invisible to the visitor's eye but their availability within the code of a website defines how the website behaves in response to certain click requests sent by the user. Apart from the World Wide Web, scripts are also used for the automation of processes on a local computer. All in all, scripts have contributed a lot to making the web such a usable and flexibility driven environment as we are used to seeing it today.

Each script represents a text document containing a list of instructions that need to be executed by a certain program or scripting manager so that the desired automated action could be achieved. This will prevent users from having to go through many complicated steps in order to reach certain results while browsing a website or working on their personal computers. The text nature of the scripts allows them to be opened and edited with the help of a basic text editor

Basically the last bolded bit is most relevant. How a script could work here is say running your scouting script which would take seconds to run and tell you what plays your opponent runs and %s of success etc... and vice-versa for D. There are many different variations of how you could run a script and for whatever purpose.
I am not going to go into anything further just in case someone wants to take this further.

Your spreadsheets are nothing to do with scripts and if that is what you like doing, crack on. The same stats are pretty much available on the league page.
