I think it's tough for a new user in general to be a commissioner of a league when they are still learning the game. As you gain knowledge and build credibility then you will have owners who you can lean on and trust to help you run a league. In my league i wanted a lot of the rules and decisions to be a group effort so we voted on a lot of things. It was an invite league only which automatically cuts out users that aren't active or wouldn't add to a good league. There's so many new leagues being started it's starting to water down the leagues and making them not full or basically a lot like a public league. It's a lot of work to run a successful league so don't let it deter you from enjoying the game as just an owner. I wouldn't leave the game, just message jdb about some options with the league you started. Otherwise if you ever need advice about running a league just pm some of the successful commissioners (Beercloud, Tribewriter, GrandadB, Michael77 or Big Poppa). :)
