Jdb, thank you for being receptive to us. You've put together a **** of a game, some things with the new engine are frustrating though.

I think that's why I like this game so much. The game in it's current state is fun, but has it's quirks. Yes, those can get frustrating, but it's just something you have to work with when gameplanning. I've seen that QBs can have cold games, and i've made adjustments that have worked out before.

Additionally, we get to give direct feedback to the dev to try to make it better. I can't think of another game where the dev will actually consider my suggestions.

Both comments, totally agreed.

This is the counter arguement in MFN-19. This quarterback is performing generally on par with his historical performance. http://mfn19.myfootballnow.com/player/1947

He has thrown up a couple duds but I expected them as in scouting the opponent, I saw that they had good defense and solid corners. My most recent game, the defense had good corners and good linebackers and the QB struggled. As much as I wanted him to check down to the rb's the linebackers had them covered. Although not particularly successful, the QB did try to throw to the TE's.

The offensive line is just about the same as the previous years and has performed just about as well as previous year. (sack wise)

I would just conclude that it may be time to remember that this is not real football and figuring out the quirks is part of the challenge of the game. (covering punt returns is the real challenge)

That's a good point catalist, but I think it's the exception that proves the rule in our league. Take Houston's QB for instance: http://mfn19.myfootballnow.com/player/2212

Active gm/coach who spends a lot of time gameplanning and has been successful the first two seasons, and is winning this season despite his QB completing 13% fewer passes and having a much worse QBR because of INTs. I don't think anything has changed with the coach, team, or player that accounts for it.

Also should note that KC's QB benefits this year from the addition of a new No. 1 WR: http://mfn19.myfootballnow.com/player/2625

With a sweet contract because whoever the coach for NO was before he was traded to KC signed him for almost all bonus money.

This is what sucks about fly-by-night HCs. I just wish there was something that could be done to help teams in the mire

You know what's really great about the QB, OL, and DL code right now? You can beat the **** out of a team despite throwing five INTs, including two in the end zone, because your opponent will give up nine sacks that result in three INTs for him. Stupid. Of course, if I'd have better game planned and not thrown so much with the rookie fill in QB, I would have run the ball for 400 yards.

Well, this one cost me the conference championship.

18/42
289 yards
4 INTs
1 TD (a 77 yard catch and run)

Did I mention this QB is 96/96 overall?
100 pass accuracy
92 arm strength
93 pass release
97/100 look off defender
97 field of vision
97 intelligence

I have a high pick in another league that is drafting today. This settles it. I'm not taking a QB. They don't matter.
