Whenever i try to change a position or number i get a pop up error message

I got it, as well and said oh well I guess this player will be staying at the current position.

However, this needs to be fixed, please. :)

The AI will only allow you to change a position that the player is currently rated for with his pulldown. This does not mean that you cannot put a player into a different position by way of the depth chart. For example, an OL might not be rated as a DE with his positional rating, but you can manually place him in the depth chart at the desired positional

believe me i know the rules of changing positions and this had nothing to do with ratings. it was just a bug that wouldn't allow you to change numbers or positions on anything. thanks jdb for fixing it :)
