Make Physical Weight a Weightable Attribute

Please make physical weight a weightable attribute. I don't mind seeing that the 275 pound DE could be a better DT, but it's somewhat obnoxious that the 180 CB shows up as the best DE in the list. (This is a made up example, but I've seen similar silliness.)

I'm not 100% but I do believe the weight effects the actual play not the actual rating. I converted some TE's to HB that have 100 overall speed and they are playing like **** and look slower than some of my lineman honestly.

That's because it does.

From the Getting Started page:

A player's strength is used to decide which way a pair of engaged blockers gets pushed. The players' weight is also taken into account here.

A player's acceleration determines how quickly he reaches his max speed. His weight is also taken into account here, so two players with the same max speed and acceleration but 100 pounds apart will not display the same acceleration.

That's why I would like to make it a weightable attribute. So basically add a slider based off the average weight of the player. Too far under or too far over the average weight and the player is penalized on the overall.

Note: I sometimes wonder if this is happening already behind the scenes. I have LBs that have good coverage skills, punish, speed, and acceleration that have a low overall at CB.

Weight is used in the rating calculations, I would like to give you control over it but haven't really come up with the best way to do that and keep it simple enough that it's not confusing.

Glad you posted this.

I was wondering why I have seen players with identical skill ratings, at the same position, yet different overall scores.

I usually notice this with the top players in the draft pool. For example: two DEs with 100 max at everything, yet one is rated 100 and the other 98. I've never been able to figure out why.

Thanks!
