Speed question

I was wondering if anyone has tried making every player a wr so that way their weights lower and their speed increases? I've thought about giving it a try in one of my leagues if no-one has already. I'm thinking that I'd keep my depth chart the same, just make guys either wrs or cbs

I see a lot of players do this with RBs to keep their weight down.

Mfn 1 new orleans.

But it's a bit trickier than that if you want to make all of your players smaller in hopes they will be faster. As a postion changes so does the growth of ratings .....some even decrease under the right combo of switching. A QB will lose passing ratings overtime if you switch them.

Also, the talent pool in mfn 1 is filled. A position change is less effective in an established league as speed is more abundant.

I knew this switch would hurt my teams chances only because the drop over one season is marginal. Over 5 seasons yes ....you might see a reduction in 40 times on an average of .3 off their original virtual 40.

They are faster but I have a 5th round 258 pound TE who is now close to 200 pounds...he's faster by at least . 5 seconds but it is his 8th season. He will now start regressing in speed the rating.

JDB has alot of little restrictions that prevent crazy changes like mine.

But in a allocation where the pool is weak ....this most likely would increase your chance of winning . ...by having a faster player...only due to the lack of speed there in the first place. Over time the talent pool will give us the ratings we think wins.

Speed just gets that sideline sack and help stop or make big plays.

I dont recommend doing this as it will hurt your teams chances against a better opponent.

They are better cause they have fast guys at the right spots already . ...that are stronger cause there bigger. Minimally but there's a difference under the right schemes...

75s post allocation draft (2nd season) I made zero position changes. Because I made them all out of the allocation the season before. I mostly picked normal early and filled my backup with conversions, but only due to the lack of talent left.

MFN 1 draft last season I made little changes too. I just have better players on my team already..I am switching them back slowly already as I thinking jdb has got this one.
