here is a new one...

Just drafted a couple guys. I see that one of the options is to void the contract? What is that about? Are we able to switch the terms? Or does that simply cut a player we end up not needing? For instance, when I have 5 open slots and 7 picks.

It simply cuts them after the draft, the advantage to doing this is that you don't incur a dead cap penalty for the bonus portion of the contract. The downside is that if you want to resign them you may have to compete with other teams doing so.
