I'm new here. I have done some reading in the guide and tour but still not clear for me. what do weights do to the players? for example if I have a QB that is not so good a passing if I reduce the weight to cero his rate will increase but then what he is not gonna pass the ball at all during the game or he pass it wont be good because I reduce that to zero. I don't know help please

The weights are used to determine the rating of players when you view them. For example, a QB might have a rating of 80 - but what does that mean? He may have a accuracy rating of 100 but a passing strength rating of 60, which averages out to be 80. If you don't feel that's a good measure for a QB, i.e. you would rather have a QB who is accurate than strong, you might turn your player weight for strength down to, say, 50 instead of 100. This would raise the player's score to 86, and now when you search for a QB you will favor accuracy over strength. Another user who might prefer strength to accuracy might do the opposite, so the QB in this example would show as a 73 rating for him. He's the same player in each case, he will perform exactly the same for each team, but one owner values him differently than another.

Basically, the idea is to allow you to set your own standard that all players of each position are measured against instead of being locked to what your coach thinks. Your settings here have no impact on how the players perform in the game, just how you and you alone get the overall rating score. (It is also used by the AI if you have it set your depth chart or if the AI has to make personnel decisions during a game).
