How to make QB scramble for 1st down

Hi. I'm a new owner and I was watching some games from the previous year. I noticed that, even if the QB had a lot of "green" in front of him, he still passed the ball. Most times the pass was incomplete. How can I make it so, when the QB has the chance to run for the first down, he will run instead of passing?

His scrambling rating comes into play, therefore, the higher the rating the more apt he is to dash for success. (ball carrying and avoiding fumble is also important here)

Besides that you're at the whim of the sim engine. You can't out-right call scrambles for your QB or trigger it in any way. It just happens...with pressure.

Short answer: you don't.

Long answer: something in the code changes from 0.4.2 broke QB scrambling, and 0.4.3 didn't fix it. You should be more upset that your QB turns away from a play randomly and doesn't set a pocket, which negates high FoV on the majority of plays.
