Gameplanning-Scout offense/defense

Is there any reason to add a play into the scout team if it shows that my team is highly familiar with that play? I have been tending to focus on other plays on scout team that show high success and/or high usage but low familiarity from my team. If it isn't in my scout O/D and I am familiar with it, shouldn't we be prepared to handle it if it comes up in a game?
